The same day that Didier Drogba was presented to the world as a Good Will Ambassador for the United Nations (UNDP), he accepted the invitation of the President of the Virtual Nation to become a Citizen of our Nation as well as Minister of Sport.

Didier added that the principles of the Virtual Nation were noble and for that reason he was happy to join us. He hoped that the Virtual Nation would be able to help narrow the gap between rich and poor.  

And Didier agreed to work with the top world footballers to set up a virtual national football team that will play one day in our name, using any proceeds to help the poor. Didier is therefore the first member of the VN world-class football team. GOAAAAAL!!!

We are sure that all citizens will join in welcoming this honorable act of a great footballer, and our newest citizen
