Amgad Sobhy - Egypte

I wanna be a real free man

Gemini - United Arab Emirates

Because it is really a nice dream

Nicanor Bonich - Switzerland

Because i have two citizenships, and my rights have been violated in both countries. Because this might be a good idea, and i want to be part of it from the beginning. Because if this works, we'll be breaking down frontiers and borders, and that doesn't seem such a bad idea, taking in count so far with them we haven't solved a thing.

Alireza Shahbaghi - Iran

Because I think ,now our world need a new country without political problem and war and everyone ,who want to have a free choice can choose and have this nationality.

Yosh

Naturally I consider myself as a citizen of this nation. I love the idea and you can count on me to promote the nation worldwide. Nevertheless, I feel two very important ministries are missing : Ministry of Children, and maybe Ministry of Parents. This could bring very interesting ideas in the Nation's political debate. They should have equal powers obviously...

Fernando Saran Vieira -  Switzerland

I like the idea of providing people without a nation a constitution and a passport. I may be able to help. I have a nation my-self but I still subscribing because I leave in Geneva and I am willing to do some voluntary work.

Filomeno -  Switzerland

Yvan Fochesato - Switzerland

Good Idea. So i'm not happy with actual real nation system...

Mulham Almalaika - Germany

I have spent my life looking for the right homeland...this time,at least I can get what I want in theory. More it looks fun to join such an effort !

Ester de la Fuente - Switzerland

I have just read about your existence in the newspaper, where it says that you are "des pacifistes qui offrent amour et rire en partage", and other interesting things. I feel that it is a great idea and would like to know a bit more, particularly if we can contribute with other utopian ideas which aim to be for the benefit of everybody. I congratulate you for your initiative.

Jean Jacques Bodo – Cameroun

Why do you want to become a citizen of Virtual Nation: Se lancer dans la vraie vie puet-être effrayant, décevant. CAUSE I BELIEVE IN A BETTER WAY!

Ferdaous.Kakoun - Switzerland

Bahia - Switzerland

Why do you want to become a citizen of Virtual Nation: Je veux aider aux gens.

Martin Smith - Switzerland

Fed up of all darn borders between countries and between individuals, I would like to live, at least virtually, in a borderless and wide open world. We are all stardust. We are all made of same stuff and all got same happiness and pain.

Wyss - France

Zoher - Switzerland

Why do you want to become a citizen of Virtual Nation: pour la Paix

Hannes - Switzerland

This thing is gorgeous - I'll surely join the club, as a member of the cosmic & homelandless minority of globalized nightworkers.

Mahmoud Okasha

I dont know - but I like the idea.

Aini Rouai - France

Parce que c’est le site de mon papa et de son pote

Monseu - Switzerland

Soumaya Yelfouf-Guehria- Algeria

Je suis la maman d'un Ministre! Wooooooooooow..... it's wonderfull.

Eric Bessaguet - Switzerland

Noble cause

Firas - Israel

Because I don't feel that I have a real nation that I can die for

Shaun, Palestine

I hope such a nation would create a big role for children and make them and their education a big part of the daily lives of this nation. A minister of education might be considered.

At the same time I'm confused. Is this a nation of people? Well you need a minister of War. The first word in the Illiad is rage (anger). Humanity cannot distance itself from the animal kingdom. If we are going to celebrate our humanity then we will have to never forget this. We are not vegetable or mineral.

Do we have to have a god, or can we have many gods. I like the idea of many. I hate exclusivist circles and restrictive morals.

I hope ideas are as important as or more important than building. Do we have a history? Do have poetry? Can we discuss. Are we individualistic or communautarian? Can we be both? Is there truth? Does anybody know it? Are we subject to the follies and dynamism of making our own mistakes over again throughout the centuries? I hope so. Otherwise we are not people. We are just pretending. For this reason I vote for the need of a Minister of Mythology. Because myths are just the recurrent follies of real people. And the beautiful indeterminacy of life is what makes it so special.

Pierre Ograbek -  Suisse

Patrizia Scannella – Switzerland

I heard about this nation on the radio this morning and immediately thought of John Lennon's lyrics  "Imagine there's no countries, It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for, And no religion too , Imagine all the people, Living life in peace, You may say that I'm a dreamer, But I'm not the only one, I hope someday you'll join us, And the world will be as one. Imagine no possessions , I wonder if you can, No need for greed or hunger, A brotherhood of man , Imagine all the people, Sharing all the world".  I want to be part of a nation where I can be a dreamer.

Suzanne Halal - France

Adeeb Kharman:

It’s a great idea the virtualnation. God bless you and your government and the ministers of this nation. I would like to be a citizen of this nation and to be a minister in your government, minister of prisoners in jail (in other nations of course) - to give them my help and care in their problems in jail. May God give your people the right way to help each other and to help other nations to make peace on this earth.

Hazim Sbait (with out WATAN):

I am an Asylum seeker in the EU, and I run from my (WATAN- Nation) can you help me to get a new (WATAN)? Not just a passport, and I want to say to you and Mr Doreed Laham: This is very bad joke, before Mr. Laham was joking abut the government but now it's not funny, it's hurting. We’re with out WATAN and you just joking about that, it's bad, if you have any thing to say to me or you can help me, I'll be one of you. But if not ... ???

Houssam Meli: I want to become a citizen of the Virtual Nation: because I’m looking for a real nation

Houssam Meli: I want to become a citizen of the Virtual Nation: because I’m looking for a real nation

Hanna Daoudi: I have always yearned for a place that I could call home. I think that I have finally found one.

Liu Zhen Bin: Natural Country is logical organization with land and Political power, but it limit each person. So I like Virtual Nation conception and want to enter society which is virtual through current information technology.

Carine: I want to become a citizen of Virtual Nation to explore this perfect world.

Michael:  What a wonderful idea---to open the world up to a nation where the only thing that matters is the desire to belong, the desire to share ideas and be a caring entity. Please, sign me up from New York!

Peter Polish: I feel much happier working with people on something that we can build together from scratch, rather than inherit.

Eva Zaki: I would like to join your ideas and purpose. I was drawn to the Virtual Nation because it sounds as something humanity really needs. It needs help to re-create communitarian behavior among people (on a "global village" scale). A group of deliberate and free people, with no discrimination, organized but non politicized (in the sense of competing with States), acting together for the improvement of life conditions for all. Using the Web at its best, finding true utility to fast communication. Congratulations for such an initiative! Although I do not know yet how I can contribute to the community, I am definitely joining you as a citizen. Thank you for creating this platform

Lucie: I want to become member of your virtual nation! I think it is a very nice idea to believe in a peaceful world and in a nation without any discrimination, it helps us to make the actual world better.

Café: I want to become a citizen of the Virtual Nation to make it a non-virtual nation!

Fatima Petra: I want to become a citizen of the Virtual Nation because really i feel that no home for me ,am  studying in france so i really dont know what to do stay here or go back home thats why am so so confused .

i like very much your idea to creat a home for those who without home

Pedro Barbosa: I want to become a citizen of Virtual Nation because it is logical and necessary.

Omnia Asaad: i want to feel that i have a homeland, i am from Palestine but i didnt see it ! and i cant go to there! i dont have the Palestinian Identity! and i want to feel that i can make good things to a place which deserve all my efforts, i hope that you will accept me as a citizen, and I'll help you as you want

Bohemian: I'd love to join your virtual nation as minister of culture. I believe I am a world citizen even before i heard about your nation

Pagès Thibaud -  France: I heard about the Virtual Nation from a friend and it seemed attractive so I decided to try it out and participate to this adventure.

Jean Claude Kastler – Switzerland:  after having studied carefully your virtual nation site, I wish to apply for citizenship. i am prepared to serve my new country as requested. Should any cabinet seat still be vacant, i would be delighted to become a member. Love and peace would certainly be within my capacities.

Christian Meyer – Switzerland: I want to become a Virtual Nation citizen because we are all human beings, sharing the same planet and same background. Why should we be part of different nations?

Leiza  Abdo – Canada: Hi every body in the new nation, the virtual nation.  i want to be a member in this nation because i seek peace, love and pure life i hope to find this nation a new change for everything bad around us.

Yasmine – Palestine: Why do you want to become a citizen of the Virtual Nation: Parce que je suis palestinienne - J 'ai le plaisir de vous feliciter . je suis contente de voir votre travail et j'ai l'honour de travailler avec vous et j'aimerais bien etre une membre active.

Huw Denman - United Kingdom (Wales): Syniad gwych. Rwyn cynnig llysgenhadaeth yng Nghymru. Great idea. I can offer a Virtual Nation embassy in Wales. What about a Virtual Nation forest?

Lesley Boulton - United Kingdom: Its one of he best ideas thats come up for decades and I'd like to be part of it.  Have I've always been in favour of jaw jaw rather than war war and feel this will be an excellent way for people, who otherwise may never meet to get together and create something truly innovative.

A brilliant opportunity to come up with new and challenging ways of managing our diverse world.  Count me in.

S. Huonder – Switzerland:  Thx to accept me as a new citizen - Will our nation make trade with another nation ? what's the goal of our nation? The rainbow on the passport seems to not be a good idea because the gay movement use it already.

George Crabb –United Kingdom (Wales): I was delighted to receive information about the Virtual Nation from the Minister Without Portfolio.  I regard it as both a duty and honour to claim citizenship.  Having devoted the greater part of my adult life to issues revolving around Love and Peace,  I would be glad to offer to my services to that Ministry until elections are held.

Roula Al Ahmad – Syria: I want to join each person, who is dreaming for an ideal homeland.

Marc Drompt – Afghanistan: A dream, fight for goals that can seem to be an utopia is wonderful. To work as a Minister of Foreign affairs and emotional relations is a great challenge, plus it maches with my personnal skills. Fly high above the nation of reality to make it happen...for real, I want to be a Citizen.

Estherita – Switzerland: As I consider fun and laughters my virtues as well as the foundation of happiness for all communities -- virtual or real, and the best strategy in confronting different human conditions.  May I volunteer to be your Minister of Fun and Laughters?

Nisreen Tirhi – Palestine: I want become a citizen of Virtual Nation because I adore virtual things.

Leitao- Switzerland: Virtual Nation is the right way to built a country without politics men or women but directly by us. It the way to find "our" country every where...

Sandro Bouchat – Switzerland: Elaborating a new social system with people from all around the world is just about what the real world will look like in maybe 100 years from now. Let's create something new, let's step in the future.

Bushra – Palestine: Why not believe in utopia? I do, and we all should continue on dreaming of a world where our rights would be fully interpretated, where our freedom of thinking would be praised, where poor=rich, and where peace would remain. A virtual nation is maybe a small start achieving such a world. Gandhi once said "I have nothing new to teach the world. Truth and non-violence are as old as hills"

Fabio – Switzerland: Ugly website, but great idea !!!! et je serai parfait en tant que ministre de la Musique !!! (sans rire)

Loïc Jaunin – Switzerland: I am not satisfied by the way my country, as much as the others, manages the durable development. I thus suggest you creating a Ministry of the Progeny to draw the attention on this problem !

Pierre Brugger – Switzerland: Brillant idea. Will be a fascinating experience !

Pierre Bonzon – Switzerland: Having traveled around our small planet, I felt home everywhere I was. Always finding people enjoying to share ideas with others and ready to open their house as well as their hearts. Your idea of everyone being an ambassador is great. Consider my home as yours.

Maimouni Yassine – Switzerland: The internet could be a great laboratory where a Virtual Nation could manage to create the perfect society model.

F. Panizzutti – Switzerland: My motivation to join the Virtual nation, or shall I say to become a citizen, is mainly driven by the sentiment and expectation, that this could be the platform for exchanges of opinion, for the construction of a "perfect democratical" nation, a virtual nation based on common views and goals. This virtual experience if, well constructed could become an incentive and promotion for democratic and dialogue across the world, which is certainly a positive factor. Further more I would highly appreciate to propose my application for the position of foreign affairs ministry.

Michael – Switzerland: I want to become a citizen of this Nation because it is virtual. I think that nations have been living separate from each other for too long. I've lived in many nations (Switzerland, Bolivia, Nicaragua) and I feel that I am part of each one. I'm not part of a nation, nations are a part of me. I believe in a world of united human beings, no matter where they come from. I think that the Virtual Nation is a very bright idea that may lead us to experience some kind of unity with every citizen of the world.

Bladymir Corrales – Switzerland: I would like to thank you to lead this "movement" or new real nation and to protect it. In school, my teachers told that a real nation needs a territory, but I never agree with that. I believe that people with same ideas, objectives and needs (natural needs for exemple !) could make a nation with or without personal territory. For those reasons I would like, if it is possible, to become a citizen of Virtual Nation. I saw that there are some vacant ministerial portfolios still - I will be really glad to help you with the Finance or Foreign Affairs Ministerial Portfolio, for exemple...

Ray – Switzerland: Why do you want to become a citizen of Virtual Nation: Why not ?

Damien Philippe – France: Why do you want to become a citizen of Virtual Nation: I would like to make party of the new virtual world by curiosity and to be able to really take part in the construction of a new nation. On standby of your news and with my best greetings.

Dettori – Switzerland. Why do you want to become a citizen of Virtual Nation: pour que la démocratie éxiste réelement pour chaque citoyen du monde!

Mehdi -  Switzerland: I would like to see if the virtual world may finally help the real one to become better...

Weber – Switzerland: I want to be a part of the first mondial nation cause i am unhappy with what is happening in the world thoses days.

Emmanuel Hungrecker – Switzerland: Halo great Emtiaz - send me a passport pleazzzze - gros bisous de bonne année

Falcoz – Switzerland:  I want to become a citizen of Virtual Nation because i don't like to be obliged to do millitary service and i don't like to be taxed on my fortune p.s sorry for my english

Umer Ali – Switzerland: I find the idea original and I think the virtual space should have its representation and identity since all of us are more and more connected to it. I would like to propose my services to the virtual nation as the minister of Foreign Affairs.

Joye Nathies – Switzerland: I want to become a citizen of Virtual Nation for progress on the world, find a solution for many problems

Antoine Barbry- Switzerland: I wish to apply for citizenship of the Virtual Nation, and at the same time suggest to take over the responsibility of either Ministry of Sports ("mens sana in corpore sano") or Ministry of Linguistic Diversity, since citizens will come from different backgrounds, it is important to highlight the role of linguistic diversity which allow for no second-class citizens because of linguistic problems. It could start with a French-speaking version of the website;-)

Zogg Jean-Marc -  Switzerland: Why do you want to become a citizen of Virtual Nation: Because I am a citizen of the world ...

Pep Valls – Swizerland: I'm catalan. Catalonia is an oppressed nation by the spanish government. 300 years ago we had lost a war against Spain and now we are considered spanish. We have a different language, different traditions and definitively a different way to see the world. For all these, I demand to be a member of your nation.

Robert – Switzerland: I would be proud to become a citizen of the Virtual Nation for several reasons.  It is the first time that someone actually offers me the choice of being citizen. I agree with the very terms of the Declaration of Independence of the Virtual Nation.  I love the idea that peace is the foundation of something, I want to make that peace-founded thing grow bigger. I want to make it reach the 30'000 citizen number so the question of becoming a nation recognized by others comes to be discussed.

Sven -  Switzerland: I will push the nation in front of new objectives. I will listen to every one to make the nation better. You have to vote for me.

Carmen Lopez:  I would like to be citizen of your nation and I will like to be minister of culture. Happy 2007

Christophe Codourey -  Switzerland: It looks to me a very great idea to build this virtual nation, I would like to participate and help this nation to grow up.

Broyon – Switzerland:  I want to become a citizen of Virtual Nation to become a part of this virtual dream.
